Boys in Blue

I actually got nuthin'. I haven't read anything the last 3 or 4 days, I've been busy writing away on something that has gotten away on me. But I thought I'd give you some lovely blue cookies to kill some time until I'm back reading again. Enjoy.

He's in blue water, that works for me.

And to get you bopping along.

Great cookies! The eyes in the 2nd pic are gorgeous!

Boys should always wear underwear that matches their eyes. :-)

Lovely cookies! Thanks for sharing them and the video too. Happy Hump Day! :)

If only there was some humping going on. :-)

The photos are good, but I'm more interested in what you're writing. Tell us more! Fiction? M/M? Novel? Short story? Entry for Wave's contest?

Green used to be my favorite color.. but you are giving blue a run for the money!

Gay circus. Blame Wren. Fantasy, definitely fiction. I have to do a contemporary piece for Wave's. Not sure I can do 3000 words. I can't get this reply under 30. :-/

I'll do a green theme day for you some day Miranda. :-) I'd hate for you to have to choose.

Oh quite lovely, thank you!

And when I saw boys in blue I thought cops! lol

Tam said...

LOL That's what I thought too Tracy, but not this time. Although they could be. You just never know what's under that uniform.

You're welcome Eyre. Hope you're enjoying your vacation.

Aw crap. It's pouring rain and I don't have an umbrella. (Do the damn things grow legs?) I'm going to be soaked by the time I get to my car. Maybe it will stop in the next 40 min. One can hope.

Yummy cookies, Tam. You've got me all curious as to what it is you're writing though. Will all be revealed at some point?

Janna said...

You're excused ;) As long as you keep sharing lovely cookies and maybe in the future your writing? :)

Glad you guys are feasting on my fat-free cookies.

Well, this one is significantly longer. Like waaaaaay longer than anything I've done so I have no clue what I'll do with it. I'm just kind of going flow of consciousness right now and we'll see where it ends up and what I do with it. It's kind of different than the way my brain usually thinks so I'm not sure.

I love "Blue Moon"! And the cookies were none too shabby either.

So let me get this writing bulletin straight. You've got TWO projects going on? One for Wave's contest and a longer one for...the hell of it? Or what? Where will they debut? (And come on, 3k words is nuthin for you. I know you could easily write 30k words if you had to -- standing on your head!)

Did Cirque inspire you? Did Wren corrupt you? More info!

My problem is keeping it UNDER 3000 words. I can ramble on forever. I'm just doing that to be a good sport.

I believe it all started when someone mentioned the gray nomads who caravan across Australia (retirees in their RVs) and then came "gay nomads" which I may have turned into a nomadic gay circus because I believe I was obsessing over having bought tickets to Cirque and then Wren said "do eeeeeit" so .....

What am I going to do with it? No freaking clue. I'm at like 37K right now and I'm just going on and on with no real end in sight. Well, I know what the end will be but they are just kind of meandering to get there. No clue what I'll do when I hit the end. Stash it somewhere and drag it out to stare at it once in a while I suppose.

Tam, this is great! If you have 37K words, then you've definitely got a story on your hands that's trying to come out. I've seen your work, and I totally think you could send something out and get it published. And you've already got a readership (i.e., us friends on the blogosphere). Food for thought!

Tam said...

Thanks Val. A guaranteed readership of 10. :-)

K. Z. Snow said...

I heartily agree with Val. We've all enjoyed your stories and been impressed by your inventiveness and humor.

And don't sneeze at a readership of ten, baby. Sometimes it seems that's all I have, too. But let me tell ya, I love those ten people to death! :-)

Tam said...

ROFL Yeah, 10 is good. Beats 5. This long one is not so humerous. Different vibe being more fantasy setting (but no magic) and more serious themes. Also straying into casual sex territory which may not go over well. We'll see how it ends up.

Congrats on the writing - keep up the good work....

My idea of boys in blue involve something along the line of nightstick, boots, handcuff's... but - that's probably their night wear...

Love the cookies hon...

They have to take their clothes of SOME time. :-)
