Okay, I'm not saying I've never had issues while baking, once in a while it doesn't quite work perfectly but seriously, if I knew someone who was that inept at cracking a freaking egg I would banish them from the kitchen forever. Sheesh. And $20 for that? Give me a break.

Wow. Um... Other than a tragic dropping on the floor or three (which I don't think the EZ Cracker can prevent)... Wow.
I know. The kidlet and I seem compelled to stop and watch it everytime. It's like a train wreck. We just shake our heads at the people who would pay $20 for that.
I actually found a review on YouTube that says it does work, but my point is why would anyone NEED it to work. LOL
I also like how they show both brown AND white eggs, to be completely egg PC.
Okay, is it bad that I watched that and thought, "I could see that in a BDSM scene"?
LOL That would be a nut cracker Eyre.
Why the hell didn't I come up with this money making idea? You know there are countless idiots out there calling in for their EZ Cracker. Darn it!!
"Uh-oh! Crunchy eggshells ruin those muffins!"
ROFL! I don't know why, but that just tickled me. (Well, maybe I do know why, but I'm too much of a lady to say it. *g*)
I am so going to buy this. That way I don't have to use my ShamWow to clean up all those messy egg yokes. Of course, if I didn't do all my baking while still wearing my Snuggie I wouldn't be so clumsy.
I know Lily. I can't believe I let all these brilliant ideas get snapped up by someone else.
"but I'm too much of a lady to say it"
Bwahahahaha
Too funny Stephani. ROFL My Mom actually bought a slap chop for my daughter. "You're gonna love my nuts" Vince's classic line kills me.
I hearted Vince until he got into that sordid boxing match with a prostitute.
Yeah, that was pretty low class.
Seriously? My 7 year old cracks eggs perfectly...and has since she was 5. If she can do it how stupid does someone have to be to buy this? lol OMG that's funny.
Exactly Tracy. If you're that useless in the kitchen you shouldn't even be there. LOL
Oh Tam... honey-the burn at my place- kinda priceless. LOL
And I'm with Eyre on this. Why is my mind always in the bondage gutter?!
You "ladies" (and I use the term loosely) are awful. (Must be why I like you so much. :-D)
Sweet, obviously great minds think alike!
OMG, I'm the one making that yuk-face like the lady in the blue shirt when I find eggshells in my food. My ex ALWAYS left egg fragments in the food. Always. I thought it was because he insisted on cracking the egg on the edge of things, which made the shell burst into tiny fragments, whereas I always whacked the egg against something blunt, which left a cleaner crack.
Yes. I do think about really dumb things. A lot.
And also I don't believe the hard-boiled egg would just fly out like that. Though if it did, I would probably buy one.
Well, you could always get him this as a "lovely parting gift" Jordan. LOL I usually crack on a blunt surface as well.
It depends on the egg Jordan. I believe my grandmother said that a newly laid egg will cause you more problems than an older egg. She would always use those to boil because the membrane sticks more to a new egg and you get the messy disaster which we've all had. So if the membrane is stuck on, no amount of fancy equipment is going to make it come off clean. And if it's not stuck on, I don't need to pay $20 to get the shell off.
Very true! An older egg hardboiled will cleave from its shell very easily compared to a fresh egg. ALSO add a little baking soda in with your boiling egg water and VIOLA ... WAYYYYY cheaper than the $20 EZ CRACKER. ;)
I did not know the baking soda trick, but I did know the old egg trick. I used to buy eggs from a farmer who (I think) had Asperger's because he was insanely smart, plus he never picked up on facial and body clues that he'd just talked with you way too long. So I know ALL ABOUT EGGS from him.
I like the "parting gift" idea!
I need to plan ahead to let my eggs get old. Maybe next time I'll buy 2 dozen.
I didn't know that baking soda trick either. What an educational thread. :-)
Everything you wanted to know about eggs but were afraid to ask. LOL
